Fort Greene, Brooklyn this weekend had something special to offer everyone of all ages, size, & color. Afropunk 2015 was a historical 2 day event. Made as a “Safe Space” the park was labeled with some important rules; No Racism. No Ageism. No Sexism. No Ableism.

From start to finish Afropunk didn’t disappoint. Providing the best lineup in its 11-years existence, we seen some of the best in there genre perform. Legends from Lauryn Hill & Lenny Kravitz to Gary Clark Jr & Kelis. You Couldn’t ask for a better throwback feel than “The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill”. This time it’s great to say that the modern generation came correct as well. With performances by SZA, Kaytranada Danny Brown, Kelela, Thundercat, Goldlink, Lion Babe, Raury, Jesse Boykins III… The list goes on. This is everything that Afropunk should be

Soltau was grateful to be apart of something so monumental. We don’t believe that they could top this year but anxious to see next year’s outcome. See you there.
